City Council Meetings - Second Wednesday of Every Month

Just a friendly reminder that City of Sun Council Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 6:00pm in the City Council Chambers - 11th E. Division Street. The public is welcome to attend.
Morning Sun Town Wide Yard Sales
Begins: 5/10/2025 - 8:00am

Begins: 5/16/2025 - Items need to be on Curdside by 7:00am

Accepted Items:
Miscellaneous unwanted Household items (including 2 furniture items), WIndow & Door (1each per household), Regular household food waste, Carpet rolled & tied in 6' length (1 roll per household), Appliances (Washers, dryers, water heaters, refrigerators, a/c units, microwaves and stoves- NO FOOD WASTE OR TRASH IN APPLIANCES), Miscellaneous scrap metal items, Used OIL (5 gallon limit), Dried latex paint(NO OTHER CHEMICAL WASTE WILL BE TAKEN) Bulk Stickers required for TVs & Monitors-$30 sold at City Hall
Piles can not exceed 8' length x 8' wide x 3' height
Miscellaneous trash must be bagged or boxed-"Loose trash will not be taken
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:
Oil based paint, Any & chemicals, COncrete, bricks or ashes, Tires, Construction or demolition material- LOOSE PILES OR TRASH WILL NOT BE RAKED OR SCOOPED UP
